The owner of the company Rock House is Maciej Durczak, the manager of the bands Łzy and Sumptuastic.

Maciej Durczak was born on July 16, 1972 in Ziębice. In 1991 he graduated form The XIII Grammar School in Wrocław and after from the French College by the Adam- Mickiewicz- University in Poznań. In years 1992- 1996 he worked as a music journalist i.a. in "Wieczór Wrocławia" ("The Evening of Wrocław"), "Szpilki" ("The Pins") and the weekly magazine " Popo". He started his activity of a manager in 1993 when he was supervising local bands. In 1994 he established his own Impresario- Artistic Agency "Rock House" which turned into company Rock House Entertainment in 2001. Rock House is a resilient artistic agency which is engaged not only in management but also in organisation and production of every kind of music undertakings.

In years 1995- 2003 Maciej Durczak was supervising the bands BIG CYC and CZARNO- CZARNI whose albums earned golden sales four times and platinum sales twice. The bands were also awarded with two "Play Box" and several other music awards. Both groups were among the most frequently performing bands at that time.

In years 1999- 2000 Maciej Durczak was the manager and the co- author of the success of the band ICH TROJE. During his term, in year 2001, the band achieved unprecedented commercial  success on the polish music market by winning the 38th Festival Of The Polish Song in Opole (the Publicity Award) and the Festival Of Baltic Countries in Karlshamm in Sweden (Grand Prix and the Award of The Publicity).In 2003 the band was the 7th in Eurovison 2003, which took place in the capital city of Latvia, Riga. There are many prestigious awards and distinctions among artistic achievements of the band, i.a. two albums with platinum sales, five awards "Superjedynki", "Play Box", "The Ace Of Empik", "Yach", the awards of the magazine "Bravo"- "Otto", "Popcorn Microphones" and many, many others thanks to which the band Ich Troje was provided with a permanent place in the history of the polish pop music.

In February 2003 Maciej Durczak took the management of the band Łzy. The result of this cooperation, already in May, was the Publicity Award in the Premiere Contest during the Festival of The Polish Song in Opole. The album "Don't wait for tomorrow", which appeared in June, earned platinum sales. The year was rich in awards and distinctions for the band Łzy, i.a. the second award in the plebiscite "Telekamery", two "Popcorn Microphones" and the second place in the domestic eliminations to Eurovision 2004. During the 4th Festival of The Polish Song in Opole Łzy were awarded two "Superjedynki" (in cathegories The Hit Of The Year and The Band Of The Year)- currently the most important awards on the polish music market. The latest compilation "The Best Of 1996- 2006" has reached golden sales. During the last years Łzy has been among the top artists of the polish music scene.

In January 2004 the weekly magazine "Wprost" regarded the bands Ich Troje and Łzy supervised by Maciej Durczak as the most popular ones on the polish music scene.

In February 2003 the monthly magazine "Sukces" ("Success") ranked Maciej Durczak as one of the 20 most influential people in the polish show business (the ranking "Lions of the show business").

In March 2004 the magazine "Gala" regarded him as one of the most important polish managers, describing him as "the selector".

From September 2004 till August 2005 Maciej Durczak was supervising the top star of the polish dance at that time- MANDARYNA.

In years 2004- 2006 Maciej Durczak was the manager of the band VIRGIN with the singer DODA. At that time the band achieved its biggest successes, among which you can find a number of various awards and distinctions: "The Nightingale of the Puplicity"during Sopot Festival 2005, the award "Telecamera 2006", two Eska Music Awards, "Superjedynka" in the cathegory pop album, two "Popcorn Microphones", double platinum sales for the album "Ficca" (July 2006) and the first award during the Festival Of The Polish Song in Opole in 2006.

Since the middle of 2005 Maciej Durczak has been also the manager of the rising star of polish pop music, the band SUMPTUASTIC. Their third album "There are no dreams without the darkness" edited by Rock House allowed the band to become present in the polish media and in the awareness of the mass audience.
